The plans of His heart to all generations …
The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing;

he frustrates the plans of the peoples.
The counsel of the Lord stands forever,
the plans of his heart to all generations.
The “ultimate” son of David, Jesus, fulfills His heartfelt plans!
For I said, “Steadfast love will be built up forever;

in the heavens you will establish your faithfulness.”
You have said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one;
I have sworn to David my servant:
‘I will establish your offspring forever,
and build your throne for all generations.’”
Jesus, promised to be our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace, rules over His eternal Kingdom – enduring throughout all generations.
All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord,
Psalm 145:10-13 ESV
and all your saints shall bless you!
They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom
and tell of your power,
to make known to the children of man your mighty deeds,
and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and your dominion endures throughout all generations.
We continue to proclaim HIM, throughout all generations – extolling the WONDERS of the LORD!
Let the rich of the earth feast and worship.
Psalm 22:29-31 ESV
Bow before him, all who are mortal,
all whose lives will end as dust.
Our children will also serve him.
Future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord.
His righteous acts will be told to those not yet born.
They will hear about everything he has done.
Today we celebrate Christ’s rule over the nations, praying as He taught His disciples, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven!”
He rules the world with truth and grace

Father, we praise you, you have revealed the mystery of your grace, Christ in us, our hope of glory! May we not hide this truth from the next generation. Grant us grace and power to share the good news of Jesus Christ with our children, and their children. Make us a generation of life-giving, light-bearing witnesses to your love and grace!
