Wondering Hearts
The morning after
Quiet thoughts, wondering hearts
Marvel at his birth.
The babe, the Savior
Wondrous news, curious though
His helpless estate.
Eternal glory

“The Lord did not set his heart on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other nations, for you were the smallest of all nations! O Zion, messenger of good news,
shout from the mountaintops!

“Your God is coming!”
Yes, the Sovereign Lord is coming in power.
He will rule with a powerful arm.
See, he brings his reward with him as he comes.
