This morning I was in a snit. The dictionary says … a fit of irritation! Certainly not in a spirit of gratitude.
Do you wake up some mornings … not ready to motivate … needing time to linger over the one cup of coffee you allow yourself before heading out to work … only to find you are out of time and need to hurry?
It happens to me too often … I don’t move fast … especially in the mornings! And this morning I didn’t budget my time well.
So I found myself “yammering” in the car on the way to school instead of singing praises.
The scripture says, “Be thankful!” (Col. 3:15, 4:2, Hebrews 12:28) and “Give thanks!” (1 Thes 5:18)
Seems I am in need of an attitude adjustment! I offer this post as my confession! Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins.
I have so much to be grateful for today … a comfortable home, warmth – literal and familial, easy transportation to work, meaningful work – stimulating and rewarding, and most of all, a confidence that today my Lord walks with me, strengthening me, encouraging me, guiding my steps!
